Podcast Host, Mike Russell

Mike Russell is the Creative Director of Music Radio Creative and has worked in the radio industry since 1995. His passion all started from his love of radio jingles in his childhood – now, he makes them for a living!

Mike Russell’s Short Biography

Mike is the man who puts it all together. He has been interested in radio imaging from an early age. As a kid he found it fascinating that you could change the sound of a voice to make is sound bigger and better. When he started with work experience at his local radio station he would always stay after working hours to play with the voice FX box in the production studio. As his career progressed he has learned the tricks of the trade as he’s gone along and has been lucky to work with and learn from some extremely talented producers in the UK, Australia and the USA. He has worked at radio stations including Capital in London, talkSPORT, Mercury FM, Rock Radio in Manchester, KM Group in Kent to name a few.

A Passion For Audio

He believes that audio imaging is a never ending learning process and gets excited every time a new version of Adobe Audition or VST plugin is released! Now, he is working on audio projects with clients all around the world – Robert Miles and his latest Ibiza Alpha One project, Zimbabwe’s first commercial station – Star FM, Hawaiian Pacific Radio and many others making their audio sound just the way they want it! He will create what you thought wasn’t possible and make your project sound GREAT!
